Rene Alfaro is a life-long resident of Rio Hondo.  He and his wife are Rio Hondo High School Graduates.  He is blessed with two beautiful daughters.  Lynette is a 2004 graduate and Stephanie is a freshman at Rio Hondo High School.

Rene has worked in the agricultural business for 22 years.  He is employed with Wilbur Ellis, as Branch Coordinator, managing a staff of 10 employees.

Rene chose to serve as board member in the field of education because it is one of the purest forms of public service.  His number one priority is working together with administration and faculty to achieve excellence for our children.  Rene's motto "You can't leave your footprints on the sand while sitting down."
